SANSUI G-6700 - Pure Power DC Receiver. What really needs to be said accept "Monster Sansui". All the controls/switches have been given the De-oxit/Faderlube treatment. The bias has been adjusted to the proper value as per Sansui "service bulletin" and DC-offset adjusted. The tuning dial indicators have been converted to blue LED's (Your choice of colour or have the original incandescent lamps installed). In 100% working order including all functions, lights, audio peak meters, digital fluorescent tuner display etc.. Tuner alignment is spot on and pulls stations with ease. The face has some nicks and such along with some of the knobs; nothing horrendous and in good clean overall condition.

SONY STR-6036 *SOLD* - A beautiful little AM/FM stereo receiver from 1972. This gem is thought to be a display model or a store return that was reboxed very early on and somehow was lost in the depths of time. It's not NIB in the truest sense but is as close as it gets. This receiver is fully operational and really is museum material.

MARANTZ SR-2000 *SOLD* - Maybe not from the blue dial display era but a great little starter receiver for a den, bedroom or what have you nonetheless. This is in pristine condition both functionally and cosmetically. Comes with original owner's manual.

NAD T750 *SOLD* - 5.1 Surround Receiver. A great A/V receiver that is more than capable of producing good quality two channel audio at the same time. This is a very versatile A/V receiver with 5.1 inputs for current and future formats. Also included are preouts for each channel for expanding power using separate power amplifiers. It's in great condition and fully functional. Comes with the full featured remote control and a copy of owner's manual.

MARANTZ 2252B - A great classic Marantz receiver. This unit has been fully restored including a full recap of all electrolytic capacitors, new protection relay, all new display lamps and bulbs, power supply and amplifier adjustments performed, all controls and switches cleaned and treated with De-oxit/Faderlube etc.. This receiver is in absolute mint condition and functioning flawlessly. Comes with a copy of the owner's manual.

2270: image 1 0f 3 thumb

MARANTZ 2270 - Another classic example of Marantz beauty and styling. This unit has been fully restored including a full recap of all electrolytic capacitors, new protection relay, power supply and amplifier adjustments performed, all controls and switches cleaned and treated with De-oxit/Faderlube, new matched differential amp transistors installed, the problematic small signal transistors were replaced throughout as well as the VD diodes in the phono stage etc.. All service bulletin updates were performed including the bias upgrades. The classic beautiful Marantz blue dial and meter illumination was kept by replacing the diffuser paper and all new incandescent lamps installed. LED lighting has it's place but in this case, LED's appear unnatural and sterile imo. The function indicators however benefit from LED's tremendously. A complete and non obtrusive (easily reversed) conversion to LED's was done including rectifying and filtering the AC supply to DC thus avoiding the annoying flicker. This receiver in it's WC22 Walnut case is just stunning.
